Today’s topic: vegetables
Thanks to a particularly warm early automn, we’re still getting, aside pumpkins, cabbages and leeks, some flourishing basil.
Well, let’s enjoy this wonderful sunshine; the hardest part of the project is going to begin: the contact with the Italian bureaucracy!
Time to Pick Up Pears!
This year we had a really plentiful harvest of pears. So good that we split with relatives and friends.
Dear friends, who helped us in harvesting them. But, as shown by the images, our technique is quite unique.
Please, notice how easy an action looks when done by masters!
What about all those pears, I hear someone asking? We made jams (pears and lemons, cocoa and peras, chocolat, cinnamon and pears), pears in syrup and fruit juices.
I guarantee our future guests that, if they’ll like, we’ll teach our little secrets on how to prepare them. No, no need to climb trees.
