Something’s moving on
Today I want to show you how our mill works progress.
Here it is a mill’s view from the square on the back. The main entrance will be on the other side of the mill:

On the left the mill some time ago: the mandarin trees convered the entry because of the thick foliage. This year we got a generous harvest (it was already clear).
On the right, the mill after the pruning. Some differences: some windows have been kept to the carpenter to restore. The road to success is still long, but we’re catching a glimpse of the expected result.

Here you can see the chimney: as it was, gray, near the bell tower. And on the right as it’s now, perfectly matching the surrounding environment. A lot better, isn’t it?
What a Demanding Week!
Always at work, here in Coppirossiland!
Just to change the daily routine, we’re looking after our olive trees!
My husband wasn’t yet born when his grandfather removed the olive trees from the fields; now it’s time to bring them back. So, we’ve begun to plant new young trees of “Taggiasca” variety.
In the meantime, old plants need maintenance. Believe me, cleanings from “brotti” (olive branches) are really exhausting. Well, maybe it’s a good exercise to reach a perfect shape…
